2003 - Prima Power Platino 1530HS Prima Power Platino 1530HS manufactured in 2003 by the Italian company Prima Industrie S.p.A This laser cutting machine allows cutting metal sheets up to a thickness of 15 mm (mild steel), 12 mm (stainless steel) and 5 mm (aluminium alloy). The 3 kW Prima Power Platino 1530HS laser is equipped with a Primach 20L CNC control and cooling system. The coolant system is a HYFRA SVK 345/1-S manufactured in 2003 and the dust collector is a Donaldson Torit model 2DFP4 manufactured in 2002. The machine uses a CO2 Rofin Sinar Slab DC 025 laser. The laser cutting machine operates in two axes, X and Y, with feeds of 3000 mm and 1500 mm. The laser was last used in 2022. Due to the high volume of work, it was decided all laser cutting would be outsourced hence the laser was made redundant.
